The scenery is offered in two versions sold separately, one for FS2004 and another for FSX.
Each version is sold for US$ 15.00

EIDW serves the city of Dublin and is the primary gateway linking Ireland to the rest of the world. Dublin International airport offers non-stop flights to all major Irish cities, most major cities in the British Islands, most major cities and prime vacation destinations in mainland Europe and all major hubs in the east coast of North America.

EIDW currently has one terminal with three piers. Pier A is used primarily by domestic and international airlines operating within Ireland and Europe. Pier B handles mainly international flights to and from destinations outside Europe as well as charter operations to many holiday destinations around the Mediterranean Sea. Pier D was recently completed primarily to accommodate Ryanair and its continuously increasing number of scheduled flights. Pier D is part of an ongoing improvement project that also includes a sizable expansion of the pier B section of terminal 1 and a brand new, state-of-the-art terminal. The new terminal 2 and the attached pier E replace the old pier C and it is scheduled to enter operations in 2010.

Our rendition of EIDW incorporates all major airport components including the two terminals and four piers plus the historic old terminal, the general aviation facilities including the air traffic control tower, the north and south cargo terminals, and all aircraft maintenance hangars. As usual, we paid special attention to the accuracy of the airfield layout including the precise location of all three runways and their corresponding navigational aids, the taxiway complex including illumination and signage, the main terminal aprons and the new remote west-side apron. Thanks to the wealth of information available from official sources via the internet, all taxiways and aprons including each and every aircraft parking position have been located and oriented as accurately as possible within the limitations of the flight simulator environment. This makes EIDW’s AI mapping file (AFCAD) our most accurate to date. As it is customary, we rendered the new terminal 2 including pier E as it will appear when it enters operation. In this case, however, the facility is nearing completion thus facilitating our efforts and making our model a very accurate rendition of the real structure. A few minor details remain so, as usual, we will update our models as needed when additional information becomes available. The AFCAD file does include the parking positions around pier E but no airline assignments were made. Airline gate assignments for the rest of the terminal were made according to the current configuration based on public-accessible official information. (An AFCAD file containing no airline gate assignments is also included as an option to be selected during installation of the scenery.) Updated AFCAD files will be made available via our web site as soon as we obtain reliable information regarding the new configuration of the terminal including pier E. Finally, replacement ground textures based on high-resolution satellite images and depicting seasonal changes are included. We worked very hard to blend the replacement textures with the surrounding terrain despite the significant discrepancies that exist between the simulated terrain and the real world. Such discrepancies appear to be more pronounced in the default scenery for Europe. Nonetheless, we are very satisfied with the result.

  • Custom-made, optimized Gmax models of the entire facility including two terminals and four piers, the air traffic control tower, and all significant aircraft maintenance, cargo and general aviation facilities within the field’s boundary
  • Custom-made, optimized textures for all Gmax generated buildings. In the FSX version, reflective effects were used in the textures of all major buildings
  • Custom-made, high-resolution photo real ground textures in and around the airport depicting seasonal changes
  • Accurate runway and taxiway layouts, including detailed markings and signs
  • Three levels of scenery complexity and detail:
    • NORMAL complexity includes terrain texturing, autogen vegetation, airport layout with taxiway signs and basic navigation equipment models (actual localizer and glide slope radio signals are available regardless of the scenery complexity setting), most buildings within the field’s boundaries including the four terminals, the air traffic control tower and general aviation, cargo and maintenance facilities
    • VERY DENSE complexity adds detailed instrument approach lighting system models, static ramp vehicles (optional) and infield trees (optional)
    • EXTREMELY DENSE complexity adds elevated airport access roads. EXTREMELY DENSE complexity setting is recommended for computer systems equipped with advanced CPUs (Intel Core2 Quad) and video rendering resources (nVidia GeForce 8000 series or better). For suggested hardware configuration see below
  • Custom-made, advanced AI mapping file including realistic gate and parking spot assignments*

* AI parking spots were fitted to accommodate specific aircraft models (including default MSFS aircraft) and we cannot guarantee that they will accommodate your favorite AI models. Customization and tweaking of the AI mapping file will most likely be necessary. Most gates were assigned to airlines operating at EIDW in the most accurate configuration possible based on information available to the public. Parking spot specs and gate assignments are available in the enclosed documentation.

Software Compatibility:

FS2004 (FS9) or FSX and Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 (All versions)

Hardware Requirements:

BluePrint Sceneries are designed to work properly in today’s average computer.  For optimum performance while taking advantage of most scenery features we suggest the following hardware configuration:

For the FS2004 version:

  • Intel Core 2 or Core Duo CPU or better  (6400 @ 2 x 2.13 GHz fully tested)
  • 4 GB RAM (fully tested)
  • nVidia 7000 series video processor  with 256-bit memory interface and 512 MB dedicated video memory or better (nVidia GeForce 7950 GT  fully tested).  nVidia 8000 series video processor may be required for best performance when using the EXTREMELY DENSE scenery complexity setting (nVidia GeForce 8800 GT fully tested)

For the FSX version:

  • Intel Core 2 or Core Duo CPU or better  (6400 @ 2 x 2.13 GHz fully tested)
  • 4 GB RAM (fully tested)
  • nVidia 7000 series video processor  with 256-bit memory interface and 512 MB dedicated video memory or better (nVidia GeForce 7950 GT  fully tested).  nVidia 8000 series video processor may be required for best performance when using the EXTREMELY DENSE scenery complexity setting (nVidia GeForce 8800 GT fully tested)
