BluePrint Simulations’ SAEZ version 2 scenery depicts Ezeiza International Airport as it exists in the fall of 2011 (spring of 2011 in the southern hemisphere). The scenery features all-new, custom-made 3D models of the great majority of structures located within the airport boundaries, including the three passenger terminals as well as all cargo, maintenance and general aviation facilities. It also includes new models for most air navigation and ground signaling fixtures. Improving on our SAEZ version 1 scenery, all the 3D models included in version 2 are 100% new and display significantly higher resolution textures with enhanced transparency effects. The new scenery also incorporates new and improved ramp and taxiway markings as well as new lighting and ramp illumination effects. We also added an optional set of custom-made static service vehicles designed to significantly improve the scenery’s display performance even at the higher scenery complexity settings.

SAEZ version 2 also incorporates all changes and improvements implemented at SAEZ since the release of version 1. Major changes include stages 1A (fully operational) and 1B (under construction) of the new terminal C concourse and a new air freight ramp. Special attention was paid to the precise location of gates and aircraft parking positions throughout the airport. The field layout was also updated to accurately represent the real airport, including two runways, taxiways, aprons and signage. Some additional signs were included to facilitate ground operations within the simulator environment. Version 2 also includes an all-new set of terrain textures carefully blended with the surrounding environment, depicting seasonal changes and reformatted to improve graphics display performance.

Design Considerations:

  • As in real life, we will add the brand new Terminal C in stages to our scenery. In the initial version 2 release, the first stage (1A) of the new concourse is depicted in its complete and operational state according to recent pictures and official documentation. The second stage (1B) is depicted in an intermediate state with the concourse structure completed but lacking jetways and various details. The ramp corresponding to the second stage gates is fenced off. An update to be published on our web site will complete the new concourse by adding accurately placed parking positions and jetways to the remaining gates.
  • The main portion of the new terminal to be added between the new concourse and the current terminal B (stage 2 of the expansion project) is not included. We expect to add the new departures/arrivals hall shortly after it becomes operational in real life.
  • All updates issued in order to add the various Terminal C components (stages 1B and 2) will be published as free upgrades to all SAEZ version 2 owners.
  • Custom-made, optimized Gmax models of the entire facility including the main terminal complex, the international departures hall and concourse (Terminal A), the domestic departures area and concourse (Terminal B) and stages 1A (fully operational) and 1B (under construction) of the new Terminal C as well as all cargo, maintenance and general aviation facilities
  • Custom-made, high-resolution textures for all Gmax generated models including transparency effects
  • Custom-made, high-resolution photo real ground textures depicting seasonal changes and carefully blended with the surrounding terrain
  • Accurate runway and taxiway layout as well as detailed markings and signs
  • Realistic taxiway and ramp markings and ramp illumination effects
  • Two levels of scenery complexity and detail:
    • NORMAL complexity includes terrain texturing, autogen vegetation, airport layout with taxiway signs and basic navigation equipment models (actual localizer and glide slope radio signals are available regardless of the scenery complexity setting), most buildings within the field’s boundaries including the terminals, the air traffic control tower and cargo and maintenance facilities
    • VERY DENSE complexity adds detailed instrument approach lighting system models, animated runway intersection lighting, and custom-made static service vehicles (optional))
  • Custom-made, advanced AI mapping file including realistic gate and parking spot assignments*
  • BluePrint Simulations sceneries are not compatible with FSX default animated service vehicles

* AI parking spots were fitted to accommodate specific aircraft models (including default MSFS aircraft) and we cannot guarantee that they will accommodate your favorite AI models. Customization and tweaking of the AI mapping file will most likely be necessary. Most gates were assigned to airlines operating at SAEZ in the most accurate configuration possible based on information available to the public. Parking spot specs and gate assignments are available in the enclosed documentation.
